A date has yet to be revealed for the wedding of Brad Pitt and Angelina
Jolie, but the tabloids are abuzz about the wedding gift Pitt is
bestowing upon his bride-to-be.
The gift? A shooting range and armory for the tidy sum of $400,000.
Well, of course. It's for the bride who has everything.
The Sun in the U.K. reported
that "Pitt really hits the bull's eye" when it comes to keeping Jolie
happy, inferring the actress is an "adrenalin addict" and could use the
shooting range to let off some steam.
The range and armory have
been set up on the grounds of the couple's Miraval estate in southern
France, The Sun reported. And it comes with people-shaped targets,
similar to the ones they shot at while training for the movie "Mr. &
Mrs. Smith."
Pitt and Jolie did intensive training with assault
weapons for the "Smith" movie. You can see them in action on YouTube
where you'll find a Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Gun School 1 and
Gun School 2, where the screengrab below came from.
Anyway, here's more from
The Sun on the unusual wedding gift:
A
source said: "Brad had a lot to live up with his wedding gift
considering Angelina exchanged vials of blood with her ex-husband
Billy-Bob Thornton.
"But Ange clearly finds shooting an
aphrodisiac. When she and Brad were around weapons on the set of 2005's
Mr & Mrs Smith they ended up together.
"And by letting
Angelina de-stress at the range, he's less likely to get earache
indoors. There's a lot to be said for that when you have six kids."
Uh, let's forget we heard that bit about Ange and what she finds about shooting, shall we?
