Jetman flies next to a DC-3 airplane like Superman (video)


Yves Rossy, a Swiss pilot, inventor and aviation enthusiast, combined all his talents to create Jetman, someone who can fly next to a DC-3 airplane a la Superman.

Rossy, also known as Airman and Rocketman, built a pair of wings, fitted them with four jet engines, strapped himself into the flying machine and took off after falling from a helicopter at 6,000 feet.

Watch as he gains speed and catches up to the DC-3 airplane. The real action in this YouTube video begins at about the :55 mark, when he falls backward from the helicopter. Enjoy:
