Skydiving video: Where art imitates life

If you have never been skydiving and wondered what it might be like, this animated video gives a pretty good idea of the sights and sounds that a skydiver might experience.

Skydiving is said to be an adrenaline sport. If you have a good imagination, this skydiving video, created by Mathias Lachal for a student project at Emile Cohl school in France, will get the juices flowing.

Surfing geese videotaped shooting the curl -- sorta

We knew geese could fly in formation, honk up a storm and leave quite a mess on a golf course, but we didn't know they could surf.

Yeah, surf, as in hang-10, shooting the curl, wipeout etc.

Only these geese go surfing without surf boards. Quite entertaining, really:





GrindTV found the feathered surfers posted on YouTube by AlSwearengen15, who said the video was shot at Glenwood Springs Whitewater Park on the Colorado River while videotaping surfing kayakers.

The flock of geese appeared headed for a wipeout in the whitewater. Instead, they turned around and acted like legendary surfer Kelly Slater.

Hang-loose, geese!

Now Roger Lima of WhiteNoise Lab shows us that you can also make sweet music with a mountain bike using only bicycle sounds, produced using a "compressor, distortion, delay and EQ," along with drum sticks and cardboard.
